I have worked at Green-tech for just short of nine years now. My favourite thing is my colleagues, met some of my closest friends at Green-Tech.
What made you want to work in the landscaping industry?
I’m very much a people person and this industry really brings out the best in people. Working in the supply chain is very rewarding and having that close relationship with your customers is so key and something that we have in abundance at Green-tech, remember people buy from people.
What is your favourite memory at Green-tech?
I think a lot of people would say the same but the “live chicken” incident has to be my favourite, I have never heard so much laughter from one room.
Another day/night I’ll never forget is digging tree pits with Gilly and Mark Wood until the early hours for a seminar we held in Kent, 3 of the laziest people digging tree pits was not fun!!
Where would you say is a dream holiday destination for you?
Road trip American style, hire a big RV, start in LA, few nights in Vegas, Yosemite national park followed by San Francisco.
What is your favourite landscaping show or event that you have attended?
Futurescape is the best my a mile in my opinion all the main suppliers under one roof and always a good turn out by the landscaping community.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to spend my free time with my wife and dogs, can’t beat a long walk in the morning, followed by a pub lunch and a few cheeky beers. If I’m not with my family you’ll find me at the races!!
