What made you want to work in the landscaping industry?
I was introduced to this industry as a supplier to GT, I worked for the quarrying company that supplies all the sand for our northern operations and at that time GT were making Topsoil from a product that was derived from Sewage sludge and had won the Green Apple Award for it which intrigued me and first brought me into the industry.
What is your favourite memory at Green-tech?
Moving to Rabbit Hill park, it felt like and became the catalyst to drive the business on and reflected what Green-tech had become as a business, made me proud to come to work every day.
Where would you say is a dream holiday destination for you?
I have always been intrigued with Space so it would be a flight on Virgin Galactic touching down in Florida on the day that the NFL Superbowl was taking place and watching the Bears win it!
Who is your role model or inspiration?
My Father instilled a certain work ethic in me and my brothers growing up and this has been at the core of everything I do or set out to achieve throughout my life so yes it would be him, I am very lucky to have some close friends who I know I can rely on for an ear when needed also.
What is your favourite landscaping show or event to attend or that you have attended?
BALI awards, the one event that almost everyone from our industry attends, or it certainly feels that way!

In the main I like to spend time with my family, I have two boys aged 12 & 8, we enjoy Mountain biking as a family, I also enjoy NFL and following the Chicago Bears but my main hobby/obsession is following Leeds United.

Being a country boy I would have to say Rural, I do enjoy spending time in the City but always yearn to get back to the Yorkshire Dales.
